Grid Aero raised a $20 million Series A to build additional cargo aircraft and advance the autonomy behind its Lifter-Lite platform.

Grid Aero develops long-range uncrewed cargo aircraft and a distributed fleet network for contested and commercial logistics. Founded in California in 2024, the company’s Lifter platform is designed around a rugged airframe, conventional powertrain, simplified field repair and AI-enhanced autonomy. Grid combines aircraft development with fleet-level supervision intended to let small teams manage cargo missions across large regions.
