About Danu Robotics
Danu Robotics develops compact AI-controlled systems for sorting mixed recyclable material. Its H.E.R.O. platform combines computer vision, multiple picking arms and verified-drop sensing to identify items on a conveyor, direct each arm and confirm that material reaches the intended output stream.
The modular equipment is designed to retrofit existing recovery facilities, increasing sorting capacity without replacing the whole line. Software records material and performance data for operators and can adapt as waste composition changes. Danu began delivering units to development partners from the National Robotarium in January 2025 while advancing the platform toward wider commercial deployment.
