About Deep Ocean Engineering
Deep Ocean Engineering manufactures tethered underwater robots and remote-controlled survey boats at its San Jose facility. Phantom T and L vehicles cover portable inspection, while the S series adds six- or eight-thruster configurations, open sensor integration and operation to 1,000 metres. The larger X8 is an electric light-work-class platform for tooling, offshore inspection and repair; FireFly and P-150 address confined nuclear-vessel examinations.
Phantom H-1750 and I-1650 surface vessels carry ADCPs, sonar, depth sounders, cameras and other sensors for bathymetry, current measurement, discharge monitoring and port or river surveys. Systems include topside controls, telemetry, navigation aids and mission-specific payload integration, backed by training, spares, repairs and upgrades. More than 600 Phantom systems have been delivered in over 30 countries for scientific, energy, municipal, security, defence and media operations.
