About Exail
Exail builds navigation, autonomy and maritime robotic systems for defence, hydrography and offshore work. Its uncrewed portfolio includes DriX surface vessels, A9 and A18 autonomous underwater vehicles and R7 remotely operated vehicles, supported by inertial navigation, acoustic positioning and mission-management products developed within the same group.
DriX platforms carry survey and surveillance payloads for supervised remote or beyond-line-of-sight missions, using onboard perception and collision avoidance to operate for extended periods. The A18M mine-countermeasure vehicle can carry synthetic-aperture sonar and deploy from shore, a ship or an uncrewed surface vessel for submerged search missions. Exail combines these vehicles in wider mine-warfare and ocean-survey systems, linking launch-and-recovery, command, navigation and payload data rather than supplying only a single robot.
