About Hanwha Robotics
HCR collaborative arms cover payload and reach options for assembly, machine tending, palletising, welding and food-service applications. Hanwha Robotics also markets AGV and AMR systems and provides turnkey engineering from process review through installation and support.
The company was established as a dedicated Hanwha robotics entity in 2023 after the group had already commercialised collaborative robots. Its separation from Hanwha Systems matters for identity: this operation is the robot manufacturer and integrator, while Hanwha Systems remains a distinct defence-electronics and ICT company.

The model targets heavy parts such as solar panels and battery modules across a 1,820-millimetre reach. An on-site cell lifted solar panels while a 3D-vision Visual Safety system slowed or stopped the arm when a person approached.

The Nongong systems prepare more than five dishes, including noodles, pork cutlets and stews, for round-the-clock food-court service. Earlier Assistant Chef systems had entered service at five other motorway sites, including Sudong, Yesan, Jinyeong and Geoncheon.

The arm extends to 1,800 millimetres, giving it a long working envelope for coating, palletising, welding and assembly cells. A motion-tracking demonstration recorded a human powder-coating path and replayed it over a vehicle hood and wheel rim.
