About QITEN Robotics

QITEN Robotics began in 2010 and shifted its core business toward industrial robotics in 2015. It develops explosion-protected mobile inspection systems for oil, gas, chemicals, mining and other hazardous facilities, combining sealed robotic platforms with sensing, autonomous navigation, remote supervision and fleet-management software.

The portfolio includes the X5 wheel-legged quadruped, the L3 wheeled inspection robot and the Yuanyu software platform. QITEN introduced the latest X5 and L3 versions in Chongqing in September 2026. The company states that more than 15,000 robots have been deployed and that its installed fleet has accumulated over eight million operating hours. Both figures describe company-wide operations and are not exact-product counts.
