About EvoLogics
EvoLogics develops underwater acoustic communications, positioning equipment and autonomous surface vehicles for marine research, survey and industrial operations. Its S2C modems transmit data and voice through water, while USBL and LBL components locate submerged instruments, divers and robotic vehicles.
The Sonobot family carries sonar and environmental sensors across shallow water for hydrographic mapping, search and inspection. Mission software plans routes, monitors the vessel and connects collected data to survey workflows. EvoLogics supplies individual communications modules as well as integrated marine systems, supporting customers with engineering, deployment and application-specific networking across difficult subsea environments.

The Sonobot 5 surface vessel combines hydrographic survey functions with EvoLogics' USBL acoustic positioning technology. The workflow links Sonobot 5 with EvoLogics' Diver Navigation System for tracking and communication between surface teams and divers. The combined systems support coordinated survey, positioning and diver-navigation work in subsea environments.

The system supported map-based diver navigation and waypoint setting. Two-way acoustic communication linked divers and surface supervisors. The release extended EvoLogics underwater robotics and acoustic positioning portfolio beyond surface and AUV systems.

The upgraded Quadroin carried side-scan sonar for acoustic seafloor imaging. Two full-HD underwater cameras provided forward and downward visual identification. An onboard AI object-recognition module processed side-scan sonar and video feeds during missions.

EvoLogics announced the leadership structure on January 4, 2023. The company said co-founder Konstantin Kebkal had left during the previous month. Rudolf Bannasch and Fabian Bannasch remain the company's legal representatives.
