About TC Drive
TC Drive develops the transmission and actuation layers used inside collaborative and humanoid robot joints. Its CS, CD, HS and HD harmonic reducers use a wave generator, flexible spline and circular spline to produce high reduction ratios in a compact package. TRM collaborative modules and TCM humanoid modules add motors, encoders, brakes, drives and optional torque sensing around the reducer.
Robot manufacturers select a joint based on torque, speed, package size, hollow-shaft requirements and communication interface. CANopen and EtherCAT configurations connect modules to the higher-level controller, while ROS support and sizing tools shorten prototype integration. TC Drive supplies individual reducers, complete mechatronic actuators and customised modules, allowing customers to retain their own mechanical structure and embodied-control stack.
