About TC Drive
TC Drive is the operating brand of Shenzhen Tongchuan Technology Co., Ltd., founded in Shenzhen in 2012. The company develops and manufactures harmonic reducers, mechatronic actuators and integrated robot-joint modules. Its current robotics range spans TRM collaborative-robot joints, TCM low-voltage humanoid and robot-arm modules, and HarmoCore TCHL lightweight harmonic joints, alongside CS, CD, HS and HD reducer families.
The company reports in-house development across materials, reducer gearing, motors and motor control, sensors, manufacturing processes and production equipment. Its official HarmoCore brochure describes heat treatment, temperature-controlled precision machining, dimensional metrology and clean-room assembly supporting more than 300,000 sets of annual reducer and actuator capacity. TC Drive serves robot OEMs at the embedded transmission and actuation layer rather than supplying complete robots.

TC Drive said the 2025 Series A+ financing exceeded RMB100 million and included listed-company and industrial-capital investors. The company said the funds were directed primarily to its Jiangmen harmonic-reducer production base. Its year-end review reported 300,000 units of annual capacity operating at the base and another 200,000 units of capacity under construction.

TC Drive said it would introduce HarmoCore at the China International Industry Fair opening on 23 September 2025. The design integrates a torque sensor without increasing the harmonic reducer envelope and provides output-position and torque feedback. Its electrical interface combines power with EtherCAT, CAN FD or RS485 communication for humanoid and collaborative robot integration.

TC Drive described the transaction as its first external financing after the founder and team regained control in 2023. Seek Dource, whose Chinese name is 索道投资, led the round. Proceeds support harmonic-reducer capacity expansion, new-product development and industrialisation of reducers and robot joint modules.

The forum and award programme ran from 16 to 18 May 2023 in Wuhu, Anhui. TC Drive exhibited harmonic reducers, mechatronic actuators and collaborative-robot joint modules at the event. Founder and general manager Shen Xiaolong also joined a roundtable on localisation of China’s robot supply chain.
