About
About ROBOTIS
ROBOTIS builds DYNAMIXEL as a networked actuator architecture that combines a motor, gearbox, controller and position, velocity and current feedback within each joint. XL, X, P, Y and Q families span educational servos through high-torque industrial and quasi-direct-drive units, with daisy-chain communication simplifying multi-axis robot construction.
The company uses the same components in TurtleBot3, OpenMANIPULATOR, AI Worker and AI Sapiens platforms. AI Worker targets mobile industrial manipulation, while the open-source AI Sapiens humanoid provides 23 degrees of freedom for reinforcement- and imitation-learning research. Documentation, simulation models, controllers and open repositories connect component sales to complete physical-AI development workflows.
