About CR20A
CR20A is Dobot's six-axis collaborative robot with a 20 kg payload for heavy picking, packing, palletising, welding and machine-loading tasks. Its reach and interface options support larger workpieces and integration with tooling, sensors and external equipment.
The arm is designed for industrial collaboration but still requires an application-specific safety assessment. Tool shape, carried load, programmed speed, contact limits and surrounding equipment determine whether guarding or separation measures are needed.

- Dobot releases CR20A high-payload cobot at Hannover Messe
2023-04-18 - Product Launch - Dobot positioned CR20A for heavy handling, packaging, palletising, machining and long-seam welding. The launch specified ±0.1 mm repeatability and a vibration-reduction architecture for high-speed stops. The robot supports palletising and welding process packages plus Ethernet/IP and Profinet connectivity.
