Universal Robots UR16e combines a 16-kilogram payload with a 900-millimetre reach in a 33.1-kilogram arm. The six-axis cobot has stated repeatability of 0.05 millimetres and is programmed through the PolyScope interface. Its payload-to-footprint balance targets workpieces that exceed the capacity of smaller collaborative arms without requiring a long reach.
Universal Robots positions UR16e for machine tending, material handling, packaging and other repetitive industrial processes. Integrators add grippers, fixtures, sensors and the safety measures required by the application. The e-Series software and accessory ecosystem supports workcell integration, while the final cycle performance depends on the installed tooling and process. UR16e remains separate from later high-payload UR models with different reach and load ratings.
