UR8 Long

UR8 Long is Universal Robots' six-axis collaborative arm for welding, inspection, bin picking and material handling that needs extended reach. It carries eight kilograms across 1,750 mm, with an extended ten-kilogram payload mode subject to configuration. Published performance includes five metres per second maximum TCP speed, ±0.08 mm repeatability and IP65 protection.

The 204 mm base footprint and integrated tool connector support compact installation despite the long working envelope. Tool-side power, digital and analog I/O, RS-485 and safety-rated inputs reduce external interface hardware. Integrators still validate reach, payload centre of gravity, cable routing, process tooling and safe operating limits for the complete cell.
