Axal provides a managed service for developing and manufacturing custom printed-circuit boards. Customers submit functional and mechanical requirements, after which Axal handles component selection, schematic and layout work, design review and preparation of manufacturing files.
The company sources components, assembles boards in-house and performs X-ray and electrical testing before delivery. Its service is intended for hardware teams that need production-ready electronics without building an internal board-design and supply-chain organisation. Axal does not provide firmware or general manufacturing-software agents; its current proposition is centred on the physical PCB workflow.

Axal said the service covers custom PCB design, assembly and testing for hardware startups. The company positioned the service as a US-based alternative to coordinating overseas PCB design and manufacturing. Axal reported delivering a working board in as little as two weeks for an early customer.
