DEEP Robotics and Zhejiang emergency agency test LYNX M20 flood-response system

Apr 16, 2026 · Demonstration · Deep Robotics · Industrial

DEEP Robotics and the Zhejiang Provincial Emergency Management Department conducted a live geological-hazard drill with a LYNX M20-based flood-response robot.

The drill documents an exact LYNX M20 emergency-response configuration with onboard detection and live command-platform reporting, not a commercial rollout or production fit.

  • The 16 April drill took place in Shuichewu, Jingshan Town, and tested traversal, perception, warning and rescue functions.
  • The system combined a dual-spectrum payload, 5G communications and edge computing on the wheeled-legged platform.
  • Onboard detection classified simulated hazards and relayed location-tagged alerts to the command platform.

Develops legged robotic systems including quadrupeds and humanoids, with a focus on operation in complex, real-world environments such as industrial inspection, infrastructure, and hazardous terrain. The company has built a strong foundation in dynamic locomotion and environmental robustness, transitioning from deployed quadruped systems into industrial humanoid platforms.
