About Revolve Surgical

Revolve Surgical’s development platform combines bedside controls with five-millimetre wristed instruments. The instrument wrists provide articulation at the working end, while modular arms support functions such as tissue retraction and visualisation. The design keeps the surgeon at the patient’s side and places the support hardware directly on the operating table.

That mounting arrangement is intended to make the system portable between operating rooms and usable where space for separate robotic equipment is limited. Revolve also incorporates data capture and analysis into the platform’s design, connecting instrument use with a digital record of the procedure. Its development focus is on bringing articulated instrumentation and coordinated assistance into the workflow of an existing operating room.
