Founded in New York in 2020, aRobotics develops systems for difficult inspection and testing jobs on significant structures and equipment. The company keeps design, fabrication and materials-testing capabilities in house and has worked through U.S. military SBIR programmes as well as civilian infrastructure projects.
Its operating model combines reusable robotic platforms with customer-specific engineering. Projects include remote inspection and measurement of structures, fabrication of specialised sensors and equipment, and support for advanced-energy demonstration facilities. This makes aRobotics a finished inspection-system builder and engineering partner rather than a general automation integrator or standalone sensor vendor.

aRobotics will manage specified non-nuclear construction and develop custom sensors and test equipment. The work supports NANO Nuclear's SBIR Phase III annular linear induction pump programme. The facility work covers non-nuclear elements for the ZEUS, ODIN, LOKI MMR and KRONOS MMR reactor programmes.
