Sharpa robot begins live DQ Blizzard service in Shanghai

A Sharpa dual-arm robot began serving customer orders at DQ's Shanghai Wujiang Road store, completing the 55-step Blizzard workflow on the restaurant's existing human-designed equipment.

  • The robot handles cup retrieval, ingredient dispensing, mixing and inverted handoff without continuous teleoperation, using vision, touch and force feedback to correct errors.
